Saturdays is busy, but salad options are great, this place is not anything special, but food is good, soup is just ok and not really desserts. No reason to tip as the waitress does nothing, but if you want a great salad bar, come here.

We stopped by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised how clean they tried to keep the food area! It was a busy dinner hour with lots of children running around getting pizza pasta and desserts - the ice cream area was very popular! I'm sure it makes it easier for parents to have their children do their own service and most well behaved. Salad offering good- good lettuce choices with lots of additions- cucumber- red onions- blue cheese- chopped eggs - mushrooms- peppers- cabbage- pickled beets - cheese - etc... many choices of salad dressings pre made salads needs a bit of work - potato salad ok needs more flavor - tuna pasta salad great flavor but pasta not cooked enough - 5 stars for the one ton chicken salad - excellent crunch & well balanced flavor Great dark molasses bread - baked potato - all kinds of soup - love the mushroom soup - cream of chicken both excellent Pasta bar - 3 types also good. The desserts must have been good as everyone kept coming back for more. We'll be back for sure

This place is great! Nice people work here. As soon as you enter a person is right there at the salad bar to explain how it works if you're a first timer. Drinks are included. Salad bar is fresh and abundant . The soups are homemade and all look amazing. I had clam chowder on this hot summer day but the AC is so good I didn't mind the how buttery soup with tender bits of clams and perfectly cooked potatoes. There's a bread section with warm real sourdough and cornbread muffins. Lots of options but this what I got. Pizza right there in small, manageable squares. I will be stuffed when I leave. They take payment at your table. Kate was taking good care of everyone! Dessert next door

Dollie's is the modernized version of Sweet Tomatoes or Souplantation. I'm so happy that this restaurant opened in Sandy. It's a buffet all you can eat for soup, salads, and small selection of pastas. The ambiance is a modernized Sweet Tomatoes. You don't pay upfront and pay at the table. Drinks are included in price which is reasonable and fair. Food is fresh and scratch tasting. If you were a fan of Sweet Tomatoes or Souplantation, you'll love this place.

Oh hello soup and salad bar, we've missed you so! Great salad choices, they had five or six different soups to try. I loved the clam chowder, so tasty and delicious. They had a small pasta, potato and pizza options which was a surprise, not just soup and salad. Service was okay, the gal who was our server was super friendly until she took our payment and never came back again! I'd totally pay your bill and take a few bucks for a cash tip at the end of your meal. You walk in pick up a tray and seat yourself, at your table they take payment it's abt $15 a person and that includes the whole buffet. If you want more buffet choices and meat go to Chuck-A-Rama roughly the same price, but for mostly salad and soup these guys had great food and lack-luster service. But.... I'd rather have good food and bad service than bad food and good service!

Oh my gosh this place is soooo good!! My Sweet Tomato loving self was so happy to try it out. Came for lunch with a friend and it was so packed!! The restaurant was really clean and service was good too. The salad bar was fresh and they had so many great options! The Mac and cheese was super creamy and I loved the Alfredo as well. The clam chowder was pretty good but needed more seasoning in my option. The pizza bread was alright and I felt like it needed some garlic or more seasoning as well. The chocolate brownie muffin was absolutely delicious!! By far the best part (aside from the salad bar)!! I cannot wait to come back!!

This is not a drill. Souplantation has been revived. I have longed for this since it was shut down during the pandemic and was on the verge of accepting that it was gone forever. When I heard about Dollie's I had to go and experience this for myself. The whole experience was tailor made to bringing back the restaurant I once loved. You start out with the same hallway salad bar with all of the options that I remember. You then enter and see all of the soups and breads in the same places. The clam chowder, the chicken noodle soup, the cornbread, the blueberry muffins, the soft serve ice cream. Everything was restored to the way it once was. All of the staff was welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was expansive and family friendly much like its predecessor. I can only hope and dream that Dollie's will come back to SoCal but if not, I will come back to Utah to return here.
